In our journey to find residency in Canada, we received help from countless individuals. Now we want to pay it forward. We are on a mission to document and organize the stories of successful IMGs for future doctors to draw strength from.

THE ISSUE

When you don't know anyone...

Soon after starting our journey, we realized a bitter fact: if you don't have friends, family or acquaintances to guide you through the process, you feel utterly helpless. Desperation takes over. In our case, we were willing to spend our hard-earned money to get any type of advice. Instead, we came across individuals with no credentials ready to bestow their flaky opinions in return for large sums of cash. Most of the time, their primary aim was to demotivate us so that we keep paying them more and more money.

THE SOLUTION

There had to be a better way

Right now, the majority of our conversations happen across multiple social platforms, behind closed groups. So when someone shares a valuable nugget of inspiration or advice, it quickly gets buried under useless chatter. With imgStories, we want to curate all of our experiences and learnings in a single place. Moreover, we want to make the stories filterable, easy to scan, and open to all. Our mission is to make imgStories a credible resource for IMGs worldwide.
